ROME WALKING TOUR

The tour will lead you into some of the major Baroque squares and churches discovering some of the imponent works of Caravaggio.
We will start from Piazza Navona and the Church of Sant’Agnese in Agone. Walking then to Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza (court yard), San Luigi dei Francesi with its wonderful Caravaggio’s masterpieces representing San Matteo. I will show you some other Caravaggio’s masterpieces in the near Church of Sant’Agostino getting deeper and deeper into the Baroque style while visiting the Church of Sant’Ignazio in Campo Mario, located nearby the Pantheon.
The last stop of the tour will be in Piazza del Popolo where I will guide you into the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo hosting two of the most important works of Caravaggio: the Conversion of San Paolo and the Crucifixion of San Pietro.
