While the allures of Venice are renowned, those who manage to escape the misty lagoon city will find a remarkable variety of experiences awaiting just an hour or two away.

Brenta Riviera, Conegliano-Valdobbiadene and Valpolicella’s vineyards, Dolomites, medieval City-states, Palladian Villas…Veneto offers many destination to make the most of your visit!

Today we gonna open up a window on the world of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, birthplace of Prosecco Superiore. Here each season holds delightful surprises in store, such as enchanting landscapes that constantly change their colours and genuine food product that add new flavors to our dishes.

At the foothills of the Alp, Conegliano is the toast of the Veneto. Its hillsides produce prosecco – one of the thrilling vino in Italy – a dry, crisp white wine made from prosecco grapes in spumante (bubbly), frizzante (sparkling) or still varieties. Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore was promoted to DOCG status in 2009, Italy’s highest oenological distinction.

If you are a “wine lover” seize the day and plot a tasting tour during the next open cellar weekend promoted by  Strada del Prosecco e Vini dei Colli Conegliano Valdobbiadene.
